Nelson Mandela tried to save his people and his country South Africa from many discriminations and he fought for freedom. He fought to separate from the white people who were in control. Mandela was a political man. He was the first president in South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was born on 18 July 1918 in Mvezo South Africa. He studied law at the University of Fort Hare and the University of the Witwatersrand. After that, he married a woman called Evelyn Mase. He married a total of three times. And he had four children. Then, he worked as a lawyer in Johannesburg and he was the first black lawyer in South Africa. Mandela is an incredible person because he helped to bring an end to “apartheid” ( In South Africa, system of segregation /separate ) and was a global advocate for human rights, and he tried to free his society from any discriminations.
